Smoother and more comfortable insertion
Responsive Insertion Technologies (RIT) is a host of proprietary insertion tube technologies helping you to further increase caecal intubation rates. The insertion characteristics of endoscopes featuring RIT are significantly improved, meaning you can manoeuvre the endoscope more easily and your patient experiences less pain.

Olympus  Bronchoscope BF-H190
The BF-H190 routine bronchoscope provides high definition images of unprecedented quality in white light and NBI mode.
This new flagship of Olympus diagnostic bronchoscopes features:
- increased upward angulation
- stunning insertion tube rotation function for precise targeting of EndoTherapy instruments
- 2.0 mm working channel
- one-touch connector to the video system
The BF-H190 with incorporated HDTV chip provides brilliant visualisation of the bronchial tree, yet its distal end is only 5.5 mm and its insertion tube is a thin 5.1 mm. The 2.0 mm diameter working channel accommodates instruments including lasers, electro-cautery devices and ultrasonic probes. In NBI mode it is now possible to view twice the visible distance due to the improved performance of the system components. Thus NBI now becomes a really effective observation mode for defining changes in the vascular structure of the mucosa.
The rotatable insertion tube with greater upward angulation maximises maneuverability, while features like the waterproof one-touch connector improve endoscopy suite management and help to protect your investment.
Stunning HDTV white light imaging performance and improved NBI
Advancing visualisation: The BF-H190 offers HDTV resolution in white light and NBI modes. The system-incorporated pre-freeze function provides sharp still image capture within a fraction of a second.
Insertion tube rotation function and 210° angulation
Advancing maneuverability: The slim insertion tube (5.1 mm diameter, 5.5 mm distal end) has unique rotation function and upward angulation of 210°. This allows good insertion support and precise targeting during sampling. In addition, it offers additional degrees of freedom to perform the procedure in a more comfortable body position.
Fully waterproof endoscope and one-touch connector
The design of the new waterproof connector allows full submersion without a water-resistant cap and eliminates the associated risk of an expensive repair due to accidental immersion of the endoscope. The one-touch connector links the endoscope to the endoscopy system in a single movement and thus minimises the effort required for set-up prior to, and in between cases.
